The thing that appeals to me most about cities like Philadelphia is the mixture of architecture that juxtaposes the city from the 1700s, 1800s, 1900s and today. You can find a church or apartment building built in the time of Benjamin Franklin nestled in between high rises built in the 1900s or within the last 20 years. These images show that juxtaposition.
