David recently won a Judge Favorite award in a night time city photography competition on ViewBug, a web site popular with members of the photography community for his night time photo of Philadelphia.
The thing that appeals to me most about cities like Philadelphia is the mixture of architecture that juxtaposes the city from the 1700s, 1800s, 1900s and today. You can find a church or apartment building built in the time of Benjamin Franklin nestled in between high rises built in the 1900s or within the last 20 years. These images show that juxtaposition. Philadelphia Architecture is an endless source of artistic possibilities.
