Miniature Product Photography
Experience in miniature product photography is not common. Many things need to be considered. The minute size of precision, miniature products can be difficult to capture and require an understanding of light, technical settings, and good post processing techniques. David has that knowledge.
Samples of Miniature Product Photography
The products below are some samples of David’s miniature product photography. The first items are shown with a United States Quarter for size comparison. The item in the middle is approximately 1/8 of an inch in diameter and the client wanted to show the precision of the drilled holes and surrounding detail of the manufacturing.
Precision on a Small Scale
Small components used in the medical and aerospace industries require precision manufacturing. Photographing examples of such precision, also takes precise photographic skill when attempting to highlight the minute details of your product.

The Importance of Good Product Photography
Good product photography is important to your marketing campaign. Consumers are visual by nature. The proper photography and branding can help you improve how customers view your product and company. Your product’s photography serve as your brand ambassadors. Not only are they important for your website and online store, they are also valuable across all your marketing efforts, from print to social media.
Good product photography helps you encourage the decision-making journey of a typical wine buyer. The quality of a photograph directly influences sales. The better it looks, the more it appeals to potential customers, and the better it sells!
There are great reasons to display your products on a plain white background: highlighting your products for example. However, you need much more visual content showing people using your product in their everyday lives to run a successful marketing and advertising campaign. Using a product photographed on a white background for social media is less appealing and inspiring of customers to see themselves buying and using your product. That’s why lifestyle photography is important.
When your products are displayed in context, the way people envision themselves using it, they tell a story, persuade, and make people want to buy. It is especially crucial for the social media generation. People put even greater emphasis on image and whether a product looks appealing. Consumers will not buy, nor trust, a brand that is using less than professional photography and graphics.
